All MPF accounts can be enrolled online through the eMPF Platform, including regular employee contribution account, casual employee account, Self-employed Person, Tax Deductible Voluntary Contribution and Special Voluntary Contribution accounts, as well as Personal Account.
In respect of employee enrolment, in the past, both the employer and its new employees need to complete and sign the employee enrolment application form in order to complete MPF account enrolment for employees. After the MPF scheme which the company is participating in has onboarded to the eMPF Platform, employee enrolment could be processed via the eMPF Platform online. The employer will initiate a new employee enrolment application online, employees concerned will then receive a notification to complete their parts through the eMPF Platform.
