Organized by eMPF Platform Company (“eMPF Company”), the eMPF Carnival was successfully held at Plaza Hollywood, Diamond Hill, on 9 and 10 May 2026, attracting over 2,000 visitors. Under the theme “The Future is in Your Hands”, the event reached out to the community through interactive games, information booths and celebrities sharing sessions. These activities encouraged members of the public to register for eMPF and experience how the Platform simplifies MPF management and make it more convenient, integrating it into everyday financial planning.
The Guest of Honour, Financial Secretary Mr Paul Chan, together with MPFA and eMPF Company Chairman Mrs Ayesha Macpherson Lau, officiated at the launch ceremony.
The two-day event also featured celebrity guests interacting with and sharing insights with the audience. On the first day, Marf from COLLAR and Stanley from MIRROR teamed up with participants to take part in the game, helping enhance public understanding of eMPF. On the second day, Deep Ng and ROVER engaged with the audience in discussions on retirement planning from the perspectives of different age groups.
Inside the venue, the carnival featured a variety of interactive game booths and photo spots, with souvenirs distributed to the public and attracting participants of all ages. An on site eMPF registration counter, manned by the Outreach Team, provided instant assistance with eMPF registration and enquiries. In addition, a special exhibition commemorating the 25th anniversary of the MPF System was staged, while trustee information booths enabled visitors to learn more about different MPF schemes and deepen their understanding of both the MPF System and eMPF.
